Returns and Refund Policy
Effective date: 5 September 2026
Change-of-mind returns
Please choose products carefully. We do not accept returns or exchanges where a customer simply changes their mind, orders the wrong product or no longer wants the item. This policy does not affect any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty or non-compliant products
Customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy if a product:
- Is faulty or unsafe
- Is significantly different from its description
- Does not do what it was represented as being able to do
- Is not of acceptable quality
- Arrives damaged
- Is not the product ordered
The available remedy depends on the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor under the Australian Consumer Law.
Starting a claim
Before returning a product, please contact:
Email: info@fishingadventureswithmattcini.com.au
Phone: 0409 075 321
Please provide:
- Your name and order number
- A description of the problem
- Photographs or video where relevant
- Any other information reasonably required to assess the claim
We will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address. Products should not be returned without first contacting us.
Product assessment
We may reasonably inspect or arrange an assessment of the product before providing a remedy. Customers do not need to retain original packaging to exercise their Australian Consumer Law rights, although safely packaging the product will help prevent damage during return transport.
Return freight
Where a product is confirmed to have a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, we will arrange return transport or reimburse reasonable return costs where required. Customers should contact us before paying return freight.
Refunds
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution. Original delivery charges will be handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the circumstances of the claim.
